Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21 1956) is an actress from Canada and the United Kingdom. best known for her role in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO show Sex and the City for which she earned five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She reprised the role in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). Her main roles include Police Academy, Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 1980s. Kim Cattrall comes to mind when you talk about her role as Samantha Jones on the hit HBO television series Sex & the City. A noted actress Cattrall's portrayal of the character of Samantha Jones has been a significant event in her career. This sitcom made Cattrall an instant star not just for the audience in her own town and internationally. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known role is her performance in the comedy-drama film La Dolce Vita. The film was both a critical and commercial success and won the Golden Palm and Oscar at Cannes Film Festival 1960. Prior to her first acting gig, she was the Swedish fashion model. She ultimately won an award at the Miss Sweden Contest. After moving into the US she began acting in various films in small characters. Her first film credit was as Venusian in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. In the following year, her performance on the screen in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising newcomer.
